Biography:

Mary Lucinda Brungardt, 51, of Sallisaw peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Mary was born on June 17, 1966 in Abilene, Kansas to Donald Williams formerly of Sallisaw.



Although Mary’s life here on earth seemed to be so short, she left a huge impact on the lives of those fortunate to know her. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will live on forever in the hearts of her friends and loved ones left behind.



Mary grew up in Salina St. Joseph’s Children’s Home in Salina, Kansas and later moved to Sallisaw where she attended the workshop at People Inc. from 2000-2014. After leaving People Inc., Mary made her new home at Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home where she remained until her passing.



Mary was a Baptist and a long-time member of Hanson Baptist Church where she was active in being a church camp sponsor each summer and helping out in Vacation Bible School each year. Mary loved her church, especially all the children.



Mary was preceded in death by:

Her Father, Don Williams on September 22, 2003 and her Grandparents, Kenneth Kay Anderson and Mary Josephine Anderson.



Mary leaves to mourn her passing:

3 Sisters: Donna Williams, Ellen Williams and Donna Kay Brown

3 Nephews: PJ Emmett, Joshua Emmett and Jimmy Fant

2 Nieces: Mary Beth Wright and Samantha Fant

2 Great-Nephews: Ethan O’Kelly and Leeland Emmett

2 Great-Nieces: Kendall O’Kelly and Miranda Schweiss

2 “Chosen” sisters: Kristi Smith and Darra Young

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 2pm at Forever Memories Funeral Home. Bro. Bob Pittman will be officiating the celebration.
