Message from Paula Ruff Vandevelde

No words can express the feelings ripping through my heart. I hate that you have to go through this. I hate that you lost your best friend. I hate that Alyssa lost her daddy. Nothing will ever "fix this". I pray that with time it will get easier to bear. Mike was that one friend that I could reach out to for help or advice and he would be there with no judgement. He has helped me get through some of the rockiest points in my life and I'm happy to say that I was there to help him through some of his. The only bright spot I can see at this point, is that I know he's still watching out for all of the people he loves and cares about & we're all stronger, heart & soul, for having had his influence in our lives.
