Anthony Richard Hughes

Anthony Richard Hughes, affectionately known as Tony, passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on July 2, 1963, in Bath, England, Tony lived a life characterized by kindness, dedication, and a profound sense of family.

Throughout his life, Tony was a devoted family man who prioritized the well-being and happiness of his loved ones. He created a warm and loving home, nurturing relationships that would stand the test of time. His legacy will be fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Rose Hughes, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. Together, they raised their child, Brice Hughes, instilling in him the values of love and responsibility that Tony exemplified throughout his life.

Tony is survived by his cherished grandchildren: Vaughn, Levi, Damien, and Liam, who brought him immense joy and pride. He also leaves behind his loving brother, Andrew Hughes, and sister-in-law, Roberta Widener, as well as his nephew, Jesse Andrews. Each of these family members can attest to the caring nature and strong resolve that defined Tony's character.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Gillian Hughes, whose guidance and love shaped him into the man he became. Additionally, he is remembered by his father-in-law, Jimmie Walker, who played an important role in his life.
