Autry “Jay” Pigeon, 79, of Marble City, OK, passed away on July 28, 2022.
He was born on April 17, 1943, in Tahlequah, OK, to Easter and Sam Pigeon.
Autry was a custodian at Marble City Public Schools for 30+ years.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Carolyn Pigeon, LaVonda Pigeon, Regina Wright, and Bertha Pigeon; 1 step-son, Lawrence Stealer; grandchildren, Samuel Pigeon, Summer Pigeon, Kota Pigeon, Timothy Pigeon, Samantha Wright, JaKima Wright, Jada Wright, Marcus Wright, Josiah Cheater, Jehoiakim Cheater, Jaden Haymer and Makiah Flute; great-grandchildren, Amina Wright, Kyrah and Kvliyah Pigeon, and Everlyn Cheater.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Easter Pigeon; wife, Wanda Pigeon; 1 daughter, Yolanda Pigeon; 1 son, Rodney Pigeon; 1 sister, Eva Smith, and 3 brothers, Watie, Sie, and Dewey Pigeon.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5-8 PM at Forever Memories Funeral Services.
A funeral will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 1 PM, in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Casket bearers are Samuel Pigeon, Kota Pigeon, Timothy Pigeon, Marcus Wright, Uriah Grass, and Sonny Smith.
Honorary casket bearers are Josiah Cheater, Jehoiakim Cheater, and Jaden Haymer.
