Barbara Jean Souders, 77, of Gore, passed away at home on December 24, 2023. Barbara was born in Fresno, California, to Hervy and Susie (Landers) Quillin on March 17, 1946. Her calling in life was to be a mother (aka the boss), and until her last days, she did just that and did it well.
Barbara is survived by her children, Richard Souders, Robert Souders, Ronnie Souders, Rhonda Barron, Ray Souders, David “Rick” Martin, and Bob “Ralph” Glass; her siblings, Neva Forrest, Kathy Martin, and Bud Quillin; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, sisters, and brothers.
The family is planning a celebration of life for a later date.
