Billy Ray Isaacks, Sr, 85, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Billy was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Jim and Vera (Hughes) Isaacks on October 24, 1937. He worked as a machinist and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed reading his bible and leading his family towards Christ, who was the center of his life.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Regina Gayle Isaacks of Sallisaw; five children, James Bauereisen of Clarksville, AR, Billy Ray Isaack, Jr of Malvern, AR, Laska and Amanda Farmer of London, AR, LaTonya and Roy Hill of Arkadelphia, AR, Veronica and Gary Sammons of Jessieville, AR, one sister Mary Akins and many grand and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Billy is preceded in death by, his son Mike Isaacks, his parents, Jim and Vera (Hughes) Isaacks and Stella Mae Stephens, his brothers Jack Isaack and Johnny Gross and Smokey, his four-legged best friend.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Forever Memories Funeral Services in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel with Reverend Johnny McFall officiating. Final resting place will be Molly Field Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Laska Farmer, Keith Chandler, Roy Hill, Wyatt Hill, Gage Farmer, and Nathan Browning.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Chandler, James Bauereisen, Millard McCormack, Billy Isaack Jr, and Allan Chandler.
