Bonnie Jo Ernst, 71, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at her home in Vian, OK.
She was born on June 28, 1950, in Peculiar, MO, to Norman and Zelma Schmitter.
Bonnie loved life. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She spent many years with her husband, Carl Allen Duffy. Bonnie spent her days doing what she loved- painting, crocheting, raising her great-grandchildren, Carl Allen, Janice Marie, Nancy Diane, and spending time with her grandson, David, and granddaughter, Cookie.
Survivors include her children, Julie and Drew House of Lawton, OK, Edward Ernst of Sallisaw, OK, Bryan Ernst of Sallisaw, OK, Billie and Mack Vann of Stilwell, OK, Melissa Drumm of Lawton, OK, Jon Darrel Drumm of Bunch, OK, Therasha and Ray Hunziker of Enterprise, OK; 39 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Norman and Zelma Schmitter; husband, Carl Allen Duffy; 2 daughters, Kimberly Ernst and Debbie Vanorsdole; brother, Johnny Schmitter; sisters, Sherry Frobes and Jean Wilson.
