Bonnie Sue Moody, born on March 4, 1965, in Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A devoted member of her community and a dedicated employee of People Inc., Bonnie was known for her unwavering kindness and vibrant spirit.

A proud graduate of Sallisaw High School in 1986, Bonnie embraced life with a big heart and a fierce personality that left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She believed in helping others and made it her mission to connect with those around her, never meeting a stranger.

Bonnie took great joy in spending time with her family and friends, relishing in the simple pleasure of fishing and engaging in lively conversations. Her love for books—particularly those steeped in romance and mystery—was matched only by the affection she had for her beloved cats: Scrapper, Lover Boy, Precious, and Gray-Gray. She found serenity in nature walks and cherished moments spent coloring with her niece, Kris Morphis.

Her marriage to David Neal Moody on April 30, 2004, was a significant milestone in her life, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter and faith. Bonnie was a devoted member of Calvary Temple, where her strong faith provided her with guidance and comfort throughout her life.

Bonnie’s nurturing spirit and zest for life will be remembered by her beloved husband, David Neal Moody of Sallisaw; her sister, Kelly Hunter of Pryor, OK; her niece, Kris Morphis of Pryor, Ok; and her nephew, Ethan Cowett of Sallisaw. She is also cherished in memory by her late grandparents, Jess and Dessie Thompson, and her parents, Jessie Donald "JD" Thompson and Barbara Sue Thompson.

As we remember Bonnie Sue Moody, we celebrate a woman who touched the lives of many through her generosity, warmth, and zest for life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a community forever touched by her spirit.
