Charley Monroe Campbell Sr. a believer in Yeshua, passed away at the age of 71, on October 29, 2022. He was born in Colorado to parents Jesse James and Geneva Irene Campbell.
Charley was a wonderful husband to his wife, Aleta. They were married for 50 beautiful years. They met when Charley was just 5 years old. While living in Colorado he worked at Lakewood Brick and Tile Co. then moved to Sallisaw OK where Charley felt the people were very kind. He got a job at district 3’s county barn where he was able to touch many people’s lives and allow God to show him many beautiful places. Charley retired due to illness but wanted everyone to celebrate his passing and know that he loves you all. Charley was a loving Daddy and friend, he was a kind, knowledgeable, hard-working man, who loved his little black dog and playing jokes on people. He will be missed by all.
Charley’s family includes his loving wife Aleta Rose Campbell, children, Charley Monroe Campbell Jr., Samantha Starr Gardner, and Bernice Campbell; brothers and sisters, Leo Campbell, Fred Campbell, Alexander Campbell, Melvin Campbell, Norman Campbell, Linda Etson and Frieda Campbell, along with many grand and great-grandchildren.
