Connie Jo Cheek

Connie Jo Beaird Cheek, 84 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 11:30 p.m.

Born on September 8, 1942, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Ottie and Edna (Prater) Beaird, Connie devoted her life to her family as a loving wife and mother. She was a woman of deep faith whose commitment to Jesus Christ guided her daily life, and she cherished the time she spent with family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Ottie and Edna Prater Beaird, and by her siblings Johnnie Newton Beaird, Jerry Beaird, and Linda Spencer.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Barnie Cheek; her daughters, Kelly Sanders and her husband Bill of Oklahoma City, and Kasey Moran and her husband Peter Moyer of Tulsa; and her grandchildren, Myah Sanders, Connor Moran, and Tyler Moran.

Connie will be lovingly remembered for her steadfast faith, her warm heart, and the quiet strength she brought to those who knew her.
