Connie McGill, 78, passed away on May 18, 2022, at her home in Muldrow, OK, surrounded by her family. She was born November 18, 1943, in Muldrow, to Lulabelle Smeltzer (Mayes) and John Smeltzer.
Connie loved her family to the fullest. Seeing them always brought her so much joy and happiness. She enjoyed working as a security guard for PSI, fishing, travelling, and taking family vacations whenever possible. She had just recently taken a cruise in celebration of her life. Connie was a twin, and being a twin had many advantages. Like switching classes with her twin in High School and taking each other’s tests or switching just to be in class with their boyfriends. Connie will be remembered as a woman who was not afraid to face challenges and live life to the fullest, and as someone who touched so many lives. She will truly be missed.
Connie is preceded in death by the father of her six children, Richard Crawford; son, Randy Crawford; father, John Smeltzer; mother, Lulabelle Kidder; sister, Gladys Miller, and brother, Jean Smeltzer.
Survivors include her children, Anthony Crawford of Michigan, Tammy Waguespack of Texas, Stean Crawford of Michigan, Tina Baublit of Oklahoma, Tara Knight of Arkansas; twin sister, Bonnie Flippo; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
