Today we celebrate the life of Conzella Sandra Jean Wright Briggs. She was born April 1, 1942 to Amos Wright and MaJoy Cobbs Wright. She attended Douglass High School in Vian, Ok. She was married to Nathaniel Briggs, now deceased. Together they raised 10 children of the home, Nathan, Lenda , Ruby, Eddie, Robert-deceased, David-deceased, Daniel, Willie, Chanesha and Marco Briggs and 2 other children, Josephine and Richard Briggs- both deceased.
Her sibling were Henderson, George Henry, Gerald, Wilma, Curtis and Matthew whom are deceased. She leaves behind other siblings Lewis, Nate, Wanda, Fred, Billy Wayne, Gary and Jerry Lee. Many grandchildren, great also with lots of nieces and nephews. Conzella Sandra Jean was later married to Willie B. Jones, who is deceased.
Today let’s say “Thank you for all the love, kindness your heart has given and shared with each, and every one of us. You were a Gem from God that allowed you to share and leave so much love, caring with us for a short time. Momma, we said, When the Angels come, Go be with the Almighty in his home, promise only 2 things, say hello to everyone, and be at the Gates of Heaven to welcome us when it’s our time, with your Beautiful Smile you have. We will carry in our hearts and thoughts the love and goodness you have shared with so many of us. You have your wings, fly with the All Mighty and his Angels, we shall miss you, but when we think of you, our memories will be filled with smiles on our faces of the love you have left behind in our hearts. Watch over us from above until we see you again.

The extended family will host a celebration of life at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Greater New Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The extended family would like to invite all those that would peacefully like to celebrate their loved one to come and join in on sharing their memories with each other during this joyful homecoming celebration!
