Darlene Girty

Darlene Girty was born on January 13, 1939 in Gore, Oklahoma, to Robert Roy "Bo" Fuller, Sr. and Bernice Kettner Fuller. She left this world on October 28, 2018 in Gore. She was a member of the RLDS church her whole life. She is survived by 4 children, Clay, Wesley, Shannon and Waylon Johnson; 2 sisters, Joann Clark and Karen Gilstrap; 1 brother, Robert Roy Fuller, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, Brandy, Mandy and Holly Johnson, Laci Pipkins, Jacob White, Lil Wes, Laura Dawn, Lannie, Landon and Whitney Johnson, Vanessa Bird, Dillon Oden, and Taylor and Beau Johnson; many great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her mother and father; and 1 daughter, Danette Dawn Fletcher. Darlene was dearly loved by all. She loved to sing and dance and is singing with the angels now. We sure will miss you Mama, Grandma and Gram. A memorial will be held in her honor at 11:00AM Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Gum Springs on her father’s place. Following the memorial, there will be a covered dish dinner at her sister, Karen Gilstrap’s home at noon. Everyone is welcome to bring a dish and come celebrate Darlene’s life.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK.
