Dempsey Harl

Dempsey D. “Chuck” Harl, of Sallisaw, passed away on Nov 6, 2020 at the age of 85. He was born in Sallisaw on Mar 22, 1935 to Charles Henry and Dessie (Long) Harl. He was married to Norma Jean Harl and she preceded him in death. He was retired from Whirlpool and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are two sons, Charles and his wife Mona Harl of Sallisaw, Hayden Harl of Ft Smith, AR; daughter, LaGail Osburn of Arkansas, brother, Paul Harl; sister, Joyce Davis; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 children, James “Jay” Harl and Tara Harl, brother, Charles “Sonny” Harl, and a sister, Thelma Maynard. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Nov 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Akins Cemetery, Sallisaw, with Brother Vernon Stone officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be his grandsons.Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Ok.
