Dora Mae Duffield, 85, passed away at home with her daughter Betty by her side, on Sunday, Mar 25, 2018. She was born on July 5, 1932 in Sallisaw to Margaret and Alph Emerson. Dora married John E Duffield on Apr 10, 1948 in Shawnee, OK. Survivors include Betty and Joe Mosby of Sallisaw, Mary Martin of Stillwell; Grandchildren Twila Poindexter, Cecil Blair, Michelle Martin, Johnny Mosby, Rick and Elizabeth Blair, Dwanna and Michael Perry, Gene and April Martin; Great grandchildren, Joseph Blair, Dillon Blair, Dustin Poindexter, Xavier Perry, Sarissa Perry, Neila Perry, Draco Perry, Blayne Perry, Kayleen Martin, Blaine Martin, Hannah Kirkpatrick, and Reanna Kirkpatrick; 2 sisters in law, Loretta Duffield of Shawnee and Maxine Crawford of Gans; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John; her parents; 3 brothers, George, Gene, and Albert Waters; and grandchild, Michael Wayne Morrison.Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, Apr 1, 2018, from 4pm to 6pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Brushy Cemetery, Brushy, Oklahoma. Reverend Raymond Esteban will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Perry, Rick Blair, Cecil Blair, Gene Martin, Eric Coury, and James Gardenhire. The family has entrusted the Forever Memories Funeral Service with the arrangements.
