Dorothy Judith Jett

Dorothy Judith Jett, of Sallisaw, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born on December 24, 1942, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, to Verne and Irena Drew. She was a financial officer in the banking business.

Dorothy’s passing in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, marks the end of an era for her loved ones and all fortunate enough to share in her wisdom and generosity. She was a cherished mother and Nana, whose quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Dorothy loved her cat, loved reading, and enjoyed sewing needlepoint Christmas stockings for her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Kolb, and husband, Dale; her brothers, Dana Drew, Dan Drew, and Dewey Drew; her sister, Dixie Bogie; her grandchildren, Amelia Kolb of Washington State, Kellie Baker, and Britta Culver of South Dakota; and eight great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Christopher Jett, and her brother, Dave Drew.

Though she is no longer with us, Dorothy Judith Jett’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Those who mourn her loss take solace in recalling her gentle spirit and the loving moments that defined her life. At this time, there are no memorial services.
