Edith Norene Stevenson passed away on Sunday May 22, 2022. She was born on July 17, 1928, in Nicut, Oklahoma to Marvin and Alma (Horn) Worthean. She married the love of her life Warren Stevenson August 3, 1944. Edith worked at Baldor Electric.
Norene was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Juanita Jeremiah; brother Bill Worthean; grandson Darrell Wayne Stevenson; great granddaughter Hallie Stewart.
Survivors include her children Shirley Stevenson, Linda Sanders, Leon Stevenson, Darrell Stevenson, Joe Stevenson, Joel Walden, Teresa Stewart; sister in-law Margie Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation for Norene will be held on Thursday May 26, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Services will be Friday, May 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. Both will be held in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK. Interment to follow at Seabolt cemetery in Muldrow, OK. Pall bearers are Joe Willie Stevenson, Kasey Stewart, Ray Woody, Brandon Taylor, Keith Stewart, Joe Stevenson and Joel Walden.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
