Edmond Buzzard

Edmond Buzzard, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 after an extended illness. Edmond was born on April 24, 1936 in Sallisaw, to Berry and Nancy (Pettit) Buzzard. Edmond received his education at the Belfonte School and was a graduate of Sequoyah high School. He was a janitor for the Elementary School in Sallisaw from 1984 to 1997. Edmond was a member of the Way of the Cross Church, Sallisaw, and had attended the Haskell Foundation. He received 2 years of decorating and painting credit from Haskell, and was an active senior pool player and nutrition center participant in Sallisaw. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Sanders) Buzzard, nieces and nephews, Karen Moore, Shirley and Mary Sanders, Christine Armor, Raymond and Berry Buzzard, Michael and Ranson Stump, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sistersVisitation for Edmond Buzzard will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4-6pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, Forever Memories Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Way of The Cross Church, 900 Drake Road, Sallisaw, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Copeland.
