Emma Lee Bennett, beloved homemaker and cherished mother, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Born on February 15, 1952, in Murphy, North Carolina, Emma was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends.

For 53 years, Emma was the devoted wife of Fred Bennett, who predeceased her. Her life was spent in service to her family, showing her caring personality and commitment to those she loved. Emma was not just a homemaker; she was a nurturing figure whose warmth touched all who knew her.

A lifelong believer, Emma found joy in gospel music and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joys and challenges.

Emma had many passions outside her family. She found great pleasure in growing houseplants, a testament to her nurturing spirit. Reading, writing, and drawing were some of her favorite pastimes.  She also had a special fondness for animals, particularly her beloved cat, Sambo, who brought her much comfort.

Emma is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Jenise Bennett; her sister, Alice Allen; and her brothers, Ronnie Allen, Steve Allen, and Keith Allen. She took pride in her role as a grandmother to Christina Brown and as a great-grandmother to Joseph Smith.

In addition to her living family members, Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Starlin Tex Allen and Violet Josephine Radford; her brothers, Paul Radford and Marlin Allen; her sister Brenda Allen; and her close friend, Anna Megs.
