Geraldine Bernice Lackey (Cowart), 82, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on September 6, 2023, in Roland, Oklahoma. Geraldine was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Lillian Cowart (Fields) on June 03, 1941. She was a devoted homemaker.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Jeannie and Jimmy Mar, Timothy Lackey, Ron Lackey; her siblings Kenneth Butch Cowart, Leroy and Pamela Cowart, Judy Cowart, Patsy Carlton, Gayla Moore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear family friends.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her spouse Raymond; children, Joyce Dotson (Lackey), David Lackey; siblings, Helen and Raymond Dearman, Juanita and Dale Sutton, Peggy and Charles Danny Vastine, Bertha Cowart, Alvin Moore; grandchild, Jamie Steuber, and great-grandchild, Michael Jones.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Vian First Baptist Church.
Final resting place will be at Box Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Leroy Cowart, Sheldon Cowart, Justin Carlton, Xavin Lackey, McKenna Terrell, and Jacob Martin.
