Honesty Gail Owens

Honesty Gail Owens, born on October 25, 1982, in Hollywood, California, was a radiant soul whose infectious smile touched the hearts of many. She departed this world on September 12, 2025, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will long be remembered.

Honesty built a cherished career as a waitress, with an engaging and friendly personality. She had an unwavering love for all children, but there was a special place in her heart for her own. Honesty’s passion for life was evident in her many interests, which included reading the Bible and enjoying a variety of music, with her favorites spanning Christian, Rhythm and Blues, and Rap.

She graduated from Hesperia High School in Hesperia, California, in 2001, before moving to Muldrow, Oklahoma. Honesty was known for her unique perspective and curiosity, particularly her fascination with conspiracy theories, which sparked enlightening conversations.

Honesty is survived by her beloved sons, Nathaniel Wallace, Caleb White, and Joseph Jacobs Jr., all of Muldrow, Oklahoma; her mother, Lisa D. Yandell of Muldrow, Oklahoma; her siblings; Tommy Owens of Houston, Texas, Lisa Owens of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Rhonda Dalluge and husband Kris of Okemah, Oklahoma, David Owens and wife Misty of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jonathan Owens and wife, Danica of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Americuss Yandell of Muldrow, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Howard Owens of Muldrow, Oklahoma.

The visitation for Honesty will take place on September 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, located at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Honesty will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her spirit, unwavering love, and genuine heart will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
