Irvan Wavil Johnson

Irvan Wavil Johnson, born on December 16, 1942, passed away on October 8, 2026.  Mr. Johnson’s life spanned more than eight decades, and he will be remembered with respect by those who knew him. His passing marks the close of a long life lived through many seasons and years.

Irvan enjoyed gardening and painting; he was a foreman for a tree trimming company for many years.

He is survived by his sisters Mae Morgan, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Karen Chambers, Muldrow, Oklahoma, and brother Bob Johnson, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by one son, Wavil Lee Johnson; sisters, Jewel King and Sue Geisler; and brothers Wayne Johnson and Jessie Edwards Johnson.
