JC Couch, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Glenpool, OK.
He was born July 21, 1930, in Cookson, OK to Nanny Robertson in the
Cookson community.
JC was a farmer and rancher all of his life. He also worked for the county and
delivered propane. He was a deacon of Blackgum Harvest Time Church where he
had been a member for over 60 years.
JC was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Cloey Ethel Skaggs Couch,
his son Larry Couch, and his daughter Glenda Couch.
JC leaves behind to mourn his passing: his daughter-in-law, Carolyn of 48 years,
and his grandchildren: Elizabeth and Brian Harris, Dustin and Heather Blackwood, and Audra and Clint Brown. His great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Jacob, and Jesse
Harris. Gracie Blackwood. Cali and Silas Brown.
Also many others with wonderful memories including cousins, other extended
relatives and his church family.
A visitation for JC will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 10 AM- 4 PM in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw, OK.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Harvest Time Church in Vian, OK, at 10 AM.
Burial following at Box Cemetery.
