Jackie Junior Cheater, 63, of Sallisaw, OK, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022.
He was born on May 21, 1959, in Tahlequah, OK, to Jack and Katie Cheater.
Jackie was an excellent person. He always did whatever he could for anyone. He loved to fish, cruise around, and spend time with his brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren. Jackie loved to joke around and he always made every situation a good time.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Betsy; brother, Scotch Cheater; daughter, Jennifer Cheater-Diver; brother, Tater Cheater; daughter, Patricia Cheater; wife, Cheri Fletcher; grandchild, Cedric Bryant; nephew, Billy Cheater, and his parents, Jack and Katie Cheater.
Survivors include his children, Misty Cheater Mesa, Evelyn Cheater, Lisa Cheater, Shannon Beaver, and Anderson Jack Cheater; siblings, George Cheater, Edna Cheater, Shirley and Sheila Cheater, Evelyn “Pat” Cheater; grandchildren, BreAnna and Keyona Cheater, Bryon Peterson, Fransico Cheater, Noah James, Kelsey Killsnight, Shariah Attson, Santiago Mesa, Kendall Mesa Jr., Kaylen Mesa, Leelan Mesa, Aden Mesa, Aiyanna Mesa, Antwon and Kayden Cheater; great grandchildren, Kyrah and Kvliyah Pigeon, Kenslee, Kendallyn, Kinlee Lindsey, and Chief Lopez.
A visitation for Jackie will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 5-8 PM in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 10 AM in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw. Burial will follow at the Flute Springs Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Lucas Blackbird, Edward Heckle, Tim Pigeon, Deronie Cheater, Dustin Whitebuffalo, and Derrick Robbins.
Honorary bearers are Robert “Jeb” Cheater and Dennis Robbins Jr.
