James Michael Pratt

James Michael Pratt, affectionately known as Jamie, was born on August 5, 1997, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He departed this life on July 14, 2025, in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, leaving behind a profound legacy characterized by kindness and humor.

Jamie was a remarkable individual whose positive spirit touched the lives of many. He was very kindhearted, known for his ability to make people laugh and bringing joy to those around him. He approached life with a happy demeanor, embracing his passions and interests, especially music and fishing, which offered him great pleasure.

In pursuit of his career goals, Jamie began attending Tulsa Welding School, marking the beginning of a journey that reflected his determination and desire to build a future for himself and his family. He was proud to be a father to his son, Weston Pratt, which he regarded as one of his greatest accomplishments.

Jamie is survived by his loving family, which includes his father, Jerry Dean Pratt; his mother, Shannan Christie Bassett; his son, Weston Pratt; his sister, Kylee Pratt; his fiancé, Mia Wiedower; his grandfather, Mike Bassett and wife Kari; his aunt, Morgan Bassett; and his uncles, David Pratt and Eddie Pratt.

He is predeceased by his sister, Madison Marshall; his grandmothers, Judy Limore and Vicki Bassett; and his grandparents, Thelma and James Pratt.

Visitation for James Michael Pratt will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, Inc., located at 463505 OK-101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma 74955. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to invite friends to a dinner at the VFW in Muldrow following the service.

James Michael Pratt's life, while brief, was filled with moments of love, laughter, and a zest for life. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
