James Wayne Lowrimore

James Wayne Lowrimore, 56, of Sallisaw passed late Tuesday night at his home. Wayne was born on Oct 3, 1961 in Sallisaw to Wendell and June (Barkby) Lowrimore. He was a graduate of Sallisaw High School and had worked for many years with People Inc. in Sallisaw. He is survived by his parents; Sisters Donna Plank and Karen Aaron; Nieces, Amanda Dawn Cato, Alina Ilse, Alyssa Aaron, and Arianna Aaron; Nephew, Warren Lowrimore; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Dakota Aaron; Paternal Grandparents, Auther and Othel Lowrimore, Maternal Grandparents, James and Winifred Barkby; and several other relatives.Visitation for Wayne will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 4-7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of the Forever Memories Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Akins Cemetery. Brother Bob Overton and Rev. Monroe Lowrimore will officiate. Casket Bearers will be Rick Agent, Nathan Lowrimore, Mike Lowrimore, Gary Harper, Dale Floyd, and Warren Lowrimore.The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s honor be made to the St Jude Cancer Research or the St Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK 74955.
