Jeremy Don Cornelius, affectionately known as "Jer," passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on October 7, 1986, in Tulsa, Jeremy was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son who left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Jeremy married his best friend, Cayla, on September 20, 2008. Together, they created a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. Jeremy was a proud father to three wonderful children — Ali Faith, Jayden Rhett, and Taylee Jade — whom he adored and considered his proudest accomplishments. He was their biggest protector, always present to cheer them on during cheerleading performances and support their passions.
His love for family extended to joyful moments spent at home, watching UFC, and working out with his son. Jeremy's adventurous spirit took him outdoors, where he loved riding four-wheelers and taking his family off-roading in his beloved jeep. He shared many memorable times working in the shop with his dad and brothers, under the hood of a jeep, planning the next big project, or simply enjoying each other's company.
Jeremy had a particular fondness for riding his Harley, a source of immense pride for him. He will be remembered for his playful humor and the goofy things he would say that could easily bring smiles to anyone’s face.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cayla Cornelius; his cherished children, Ali Faith, Jayden Rhett, and Taylee Jade; his sibling, Jake Dillon Cornelius; and his parents, Donnie Joe Cornelius and Rhonda Lou Cornelius.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Duane Cornelius, and his grandparents, Tony Beaver and Verna Cornelius.
As we reflect on our memories of Jeremy, we will carry his spirit in our hearts. His voice and laughter will be deeply missed, yet we find solace in the belief that he will continue to protect us every step along the way, just as he always has.
