Jerry Lee Crawford

Jerry Lee Crawford, 72, of Sallisaw passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 in Fort Smith. Jerry was born on May 10, 1943 in Sterling City, TX to Roy L. and Billie Jo (House) Crawford.Jerry was a Sallisaw High School graduate and a construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking. He enjoyed morning trips to the coffee shop to hang out with his friends and Friday fish days with David. Most of all he enjoyed his church, Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church and loved his church family.Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; John Crawford, Walter Ross and Ricky Ross and his best friend David Chuculate.Jerry is survived by; Son-Damon Ross Crawford of Sallisaw, Daughters; Rona Hawkins of Clyde, TX and Mischa Hawkins of Abilene, TX. 4 Grandchildren; Ashlyn, David, Kaitlyn and Jordan. Brothers; Joe Ross and wife Ginger, David Ross and wife Joy, Sisters; Ellen Stovall and Susan Howard and husband Gary all of Sallisaw.Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffington Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be his nephews. Honorary Casket will be Hubert Blankenship, Fred Beck, Jerry Robertson, Ronnie Long, Stanley Philpot and Justin Haywood.
