Jerry Russell Emerson, 82, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away on January 05, 2024, in Gore, Oklahoma. Jerry was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Russell and Louise Emerson (Davison) on December 22, 1941. Jerry took great pride in his yard and could often be found working out in it tidying up and adding things here and there. He loved to spend time with his wife, Debbie, and they could often be found together at the casino. But, when the weather was nice, you’d find him on the bank fishing, reminiscing, and enjoying the simple life.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, whom he married in 1988, Deborah Emerson; his children, Danny and Bertie Emerson, Lana Smith, Anita Barnes, and Crysti Myers; his sister, Darlene Colbert; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandchild, Tucker Emerson.
The family invites you to celebrate his life with them on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Masonic Lodge #351 in Porum, Oklahoma.
