In Loving Memory of Jimmie Ghu-Lah Clemmons
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmie Ghu-lah Clemmons, a beloved member of the community. Born in Tahlequah, OK, on September 2, 1943, Jimmie was the cherished son of Cherokee Adare Fox Clemmons and William James Clemmons. He peacefully departed this world at the age of 80 on November 14, 2023, with his devoted wife, Guillermina, by his side.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Guillermina Clemmons, his son Jimmie Lee Clemmons, and numerous grandchildren and stepchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Teesquant Jackson.
A visitation to celebrate Jimmie’s life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 10 am to 8 pm at Forever Memories, 463505 Highway 101, Sallisaw, OK. A funeral service will take place in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 10 am. Final resting place will be Sallisaw City Cemetery.
