Jo Ann Graham

Jo Ann (Kimbler) Graham, 77, passed away February 21, 2026, at home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born April 22, 1948, in Van Buren, AR, to Joe Clayton and Flora Marie (Holley) Kimbler. Jo Ann was the youngest of eight siblings.

In her younger years, Jo Ann wore many hats. She worked in several professions, including a box factory, a hotel chain, a restaurant business, in bookkeeping, and eventually owned an antique store and a floral business. One of the things that brought Jo Ann the greatest pleasure was caring for those she loved. If she knew that you had a need, she would step up to take care of it. She and Cleon Harrell spent many happy years together. Jo Ann loved the memories they made together and cherished him deeply. Jo Ann was mother to her one and only son, Mark Graham, whom she loved fiercely. He filled her days with lots of love and laughter.

Jo Ann was lovingly known as Jo, Aunt Jo, or JoJo by many of her loved ones. With almost certainty, I would dare to say whoever said dynamite comes in small packages must have been referring to Jo Ann. She had a fiery spirit and daring personality. Jo Ann loved collecting antiques and decorating her home. To say she loved a little pop of red in her life would be an understatement.

Jo Ann is survived by Cleon Harrell; her stepsons, Mike Harrell and wife, Keli, and Jeff Harrell and wife, Kari; her sister, Juanita Scharnberg; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler, Kyleigh, T. H., Alex, Kailan, Amber, and Maddox. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Bekki Graham, her great-grandchildren, Emerson, Hadley, Karsyn, Norah, Ryan, Kennedy, Ryker, Rhett, Oakley, and Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Graham; and her siblings, Clayton Kimbler Jr., David W. Kimbler, Rose Marie Ramos, Mary Louise Prince, Katie Mae Young, and Percy Kimbler.

Jo Ann will be remembered for the laughter and heartfelt moments she created with all those who loved her. Most of all, they will remember the unmistakable love she had for each of them.

Graveside services for Jo Ann will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Akins Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tyler Harrell and Coleen Young will be speaking, and pallbearers are Tyler Harrell, T.H. Harrell, Maddox Harrell, Donnie Comstock, and Cole Ashworth. Mrs. Graham's arrangements are in the care of Forever Memories Funeral Services, Inc., 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
