Johnnie Lee Snell, 80, of Vian, OK, passed away on November 12, 2021.
He was born August 02, 1941, to Ben Snell and Agnes (Blossom) Snell in Little Kansas, OK.
Johnnie was an ordained minister. He pastored several churches and was strong in his faith. He loved his grandchildren very much and always encouraged them to pray and trust in the Lord. Some of the things he loved most were fishing, root beer, singing and playing gospel music, watching old western movies, and sharing Christ with others.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona; parents, Ben and Agnes Snell; sister, Emma Henson, and brother, Eli Snell.
Survivors include his children, Tanya Bigfeather and husband Troy, Sonya Gann and husband Timmy, Glenda Cameron and husband Fred, Shirley Cochran and husband Perry, Jason Snell and wife Kayla; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Johnnie will be held from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw. Funeral services are at 2 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Long Prairie Baptist Church in Kansas, OK.
Casket bearers are Timmy Gann, Troy Bigfeather, Fred Cameron, Perry Cochran, Felix Fixin, and Philip Cochran.
Honorary bearers are Joshua Fixin, Larimie Fixin, Noah Cochran, Colton Snell, Jerico Snell, Little Bear Gann, Wyatt Gann and Derrik Gann.
