Johnny Dwight James, 59, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on July 12, 2024, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma, on January 12, 1965, to Arthur “Dwight” James and Linda James. He was a talented carpenter and worked in construction.
Johnny is survived by his spouse, Suzanne James; his father, Dwight James; his daughter, Jessica James; his grandchildren, Makayla James and Aaron James; and his siblings, Mitchel James, Terry James, and Leslie Herrin.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda James, and his brothers, Garland James, Richard James, and Jody James.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Rocky Point Cemetery, with Heath Wood officiating.
Pallbearer is Stevie Long.
