June Ellen Batey, 73, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on November 5, 2024, in Roland. June was born in California to Elmer and Faye Batey (Simpson) on June 13, 1951. June loved animals and chose a career as a dog groomer because of her love and compassion for dogs.
June is survived by her son Teddy Sigel and his wife Kim; her sister Tina Shelby; her grandchildren Tanar Sigel and Brandon Reese; and her great-grandchildren Piper Fillmore, Brayson Reese, Kyran Reese, and Karli Reese. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, dear friends, and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Faye Batey; her sisters, Doris Maples, Deloris Allen, and Alene Ulery; and her brothers, James Batey and John Batey.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
