Karen Oleta Roastingear-Cheater, 52, passed away at her home in Sallisaw on Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was born on Oct 13, 1964 in Tahlequah, OK, to Harold and Corena Roastingear. She leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Billy Cheater; Daughter, Karrie Cheater of Ft Smith; Son, Billy Cheater Jr. of the home; Sisters, Jennie May Roastingear and Corena Maxine Roastingear-Mathews; Brothers, Johnny Roastingear and his wife Anita of Crown Point, NM, James, Phillip, and David Roastingear of Sallisaw, 3 grandchildren, Akiilah Shade, Ka’Mauri Andrews, and SShaniya Andrews, and a host of other relatives and friends.Karen was preceded in death by her parents, a brother in law, Phillip Earl (Red) Mathews, sister in law, Jewell Dee Cooper Roastingear, and a niece, Rebecca Roastingear.Funeral services for Karen will be on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Stillwell. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday evening from 4-6 pm, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel.
