Kirby Dale Clifton, a cherished member of the Muldrow, Oklahoma community, passed away on December 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on October 24, 1936, he lived a life filled with purpose, love, and a passion for the simple pleasures that life offered.

Kirby dedicated many years to his career in the furniture industry, where he became known for his keen eye and skillful craftsmanship. Beyond his professional endeavors, he found joy in attending auctions and yard sales, where he often discovered unique treasures and formed connections with fellow enthusiasts. His adventurous spirit was infectious, and he brought warmth and enthusiasm to all who shared these moments with him.

A proud veteran, Kirby served in the Army, where he demonstrated commitment and bravery, characteristics that remained a part of his everyday life. His military service was a foundation upon which he built a life of dedication to family and friends.

In his passing, Kirby leaves behind his loving family, which includes his sons, Alan Clifton and his wife, Christy, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Lloyd Clifton, and wife, Wilma, of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Justin Clifton and wife, Frankie, and Alex Clifton and wife, Casey; and five great-grandchildren. He was also the beloved brother of Billy Ray Clifton and wife, Edwina, of Van Buren, Arkansas. He is also survived by his beloved friend, Kenneth McKenzie. Kirby valued these relationships deeply, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever.

He joins his parents, John Marion Clifton and Vera Mae Clifton, along with his siblings who have preceded him in death: Mary Delphine King, Jane Cordia White, Joe David Clifton, Ross Lester Clifton, and Bobby Lee Clifton. Their spirits will now be reunited, creating a legacy of love that will transcend generations.
