Larry Philpot

Larry Eugene Philpot, 55, passed on Monday, May 1, 2017 in Vian. Larry was born on Sept. 21, 1961 in Sallisaw to Charles and Una Ruth (Sparks) Philpot. He has worked many years around horses, training, and taking care of them. Larry is survived by his children, Bradley Michael Philpot of Sallisaw, Todd Alan Philpot of Sallisaw, and Brandy Michelle Philpot of Atlanta, GA; brothers Michael Wayne Philpot, and Charles Philpot, both of Sallisaw; 2 granddaughters and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Una Diana Philpot.Funeral services for Larry will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, with Rev. Joey DuVall officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6 pm to 8pm. Burial will follow in the Brushy Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tyler Philpot, Heath Philpot, Josh Barrett, Trey Skaggs, Dylan Skaggs, Austin Pitts; Honorary Casket Bearer will be John Philpot.
