Lorraine Allen Macmillar

Mary Lorraine(House) Allen MacMillar, 65, of Elohim City, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at home. She was born on March 8, 1951 in West Palm Beach, FL to Jesse and Emily (Brantley) Allen.She loved greatly, lived fiercely, and laughed loudly. Lorraine filled her life with family and community and sacrificed so much for those she loved. She dedicated much of her life to midwifery and found such joy in each baby she helped into the world. She touched so many lives, but each baby she held for the first time had a special place in her heart.Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband-Robert, her parents and 1 brother-Frank.Lorraine is survived by 3 daughters; Emily and her husband Byron, Mary and her husband Chris and Juda. 2 sisters; Alvy and Jessie and 1 brother-Steve. 7 grandchildren; Forrest, Ethan, Erik, Adelae, Scott, Brianna and Kathryn.Above all, her walk with God was most precious to her and serves as an inspiration to all who knew her. She gave God the glory for His blessings in her life and we give thanks for the blessing she was to us, a mother to us all.Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
