Marcia Claudette Howell of Sallisaw, OK, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023.
Marcia was born in 1954 in Sallisaw, OK to parents Ruby and James Howell. She was a horse trainer by trade, and she and Doug Page shared their lives for 27 years traveling the U.S. training and racing horses. Marcia’s kindness and generosity were shown throughout her life, from her love for animals to the many people she helped. Marcia held a special place in her heart for her little dog Limo.
Marcia was preceded in death by partner Doug Page; both of her parents, brother Gary Howell and sister, Carolyn Howell, all of Sallisaw, OK.
She is survived by daughter, Becky (Chris Perez) Howell of Monmouth Junction, NJ; brothers Randy (Gail) Howell of Smyrna, TN, Dick (Libby) Howell of Guthrie, OK, and Kenny Howell of Sallisaw, OK; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank beloved family friend, Cheryl Miller, for her friendship with Marcia over the years.
There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2023 graveside at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, OK.
Services are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, OK.
