Margie Diane Daniel

Margie Diane Daniel, of Gore, Oklahoma, lovingly known as Diane, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 71.She was born Margie Diane Montgomery on August 28, 1954, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Jack and Ruth Montgomery.

Diane was survived by her husband, Robert Daniel; her daughters, Shelly Miller and Tessie Armer.

Her legacy extends deeply through her grandchildren—Shelby and Devin Mitchell, Daigon and Katy Mercell, Dylan Rinehart, Gary Armer, and Kaden Armer. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren: Arianna and Skylin Mercell, Teegan and Jettson Mitchell. 

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ruth Montgomery, as well as her beloved sisters, Debbie Summers and Jackie Munday. 

Before health challenges made it difficult, Diane attended Christ the King Church in Vian, Oklahoma. A lover of the outdoors, Diane found joy in fishing in  the Arkansas River at Webbers Falls, and she enjoyed going camping. She cherished the simple pleasure of sharing meals and going fishing with her dear friends, Sue Raisch and Joyce Little. 

The family invites friends and loved ones to gather and celebrate Diane’s remarkable life. Details regarding services will be announced by the family at a later time. The family of Margie has entrusted Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with all arrangements.

Margie Diane Daniel’s legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many cherished friends. She will be remembered with love, respect, and deep gratitude for the many lives she touched.
