Marlin D Allen

Marlin D Allen, 59, of Vian passed away on Wed, April 7, 2021 unexpectantly. Marlin was born on Sept 18, 1961 in Sallisaw to Starlin and Violet Radford Allen. He had worked for the NSP Stone Supply for the past 22 years as a laborer. He was a wonderful man who loved the outdoors, Friday night football, and spending time with his family. Marlin is survived by his son, Christopher Parks of the home; daughter, Marrissa Taylor and son in law Randy Taylor of Gore; grandchildren, Levi Taylor and Trevor Blackbird; brothers, Keith Allen of Vian, Ronnie Allen of Sallisaw, and Steve Allen of Ft. Gibson; sisters, Alice Allen and brother in law Jr O’Neal of Sallisaw, and Emma Bennett of Sallisaw; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon Parks, and his sister, Brenda Allen. Visitation for Marlin will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2-6pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Graveside services will be held on Monday, Apr 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Vian, with Pastor Reggie Kelley officiating. Casket bearers will be Keith Allen, Steve Allen, Ronnie Allen, Jay Edgar, Denny McGarrah, and Wally Kent.
