Melody Jean Males

Melody Jean Males, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 66.  She was born on April 10, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her passing marks the close of a life that spanned 66 years, from her birth in Indianapolis to her death in Vian. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her loss.

Melody will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew her.  Melody loved being a "Mimi" to her 3 granddaughters.  Melody enjoyed painting, rock hunting and collecting, music of all genres, growing houseplants of all kinds, and mostly loved to laugh.   Melody attended Christ the King in Vian, Oklahoma.

Melody is survived by her son, Nolan Cooper, and wife, Janet Cooper; her daughter, Anna Males, and fiancé, Luke Rice; her brother, Michael Wand; her grandchildren, AriAnna, Skylin, and Kota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Males; father, Warren Wand; and her mother, Patricia Parker.

Her memory will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be very loved and very missed.

No services are planned, and the family of Melodyy has entrusted Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 10, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with all arrangements.
