Monzell Coppin III, “Pee Wee,” passed on February 4, 2023.
Monzell was born November 19, 1977, in Muskogee, OK., to parents Monzell Jr. and Gayle Coppin.
Monzell was raised and graduated high school in Webbers Falls, OK. He loved to hunt and fish with his brother Shalin and his grandkids.
Monzell married the love of his life, Jennifer, on July 5, 2003.
He was a family man, a great husband, Father, and Papa. He never missed a ball game. His grandkids were his world.
Monzell was preceded in death by his father, Monzell Herman Coppin Jr.
Survivors include wife, Jennifer Coppin; mother, Gayle Coppin (Davis); children Natalie Ross and Hunter Spencer; Colby and wife, Emily Ross; and Forest Ross. Brothers and sisters, Julie Coppin and Shalin Coppin; Grandchildren, Gentry Morris, Gemma Spencer, Ezra Spencer, Lawson Ross, Lars Ross, Lane Ross, Remmington Ross, Ruger Ross, Rhenn Ross, and Arabeya Ross.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 1 to 8 PM at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101 in Sallisaw, OK.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 2 PM at Blackgum Harvest Time Church, 451558 East 980 Road, Vian, OK.
Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Vian, OK.
Pall Bearers will be Colby Ross, Forest Ross, Tre Locust, Dustin Coppin, Tommy Coppin, and Shalin Coppin.
Honorary Pall Bearers are Michael Dyer, Hunter Spencer, Juan Hernandez, David Milligan, and Poncho Coppin.
Services are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, OK.
