Olen Warren Gene Hill

Olen Warren Gene Hill,53, of Gans, passed away Oct 14, 2019, with his family by his side, in Ft Smith, AR. Gene was born to Bob G Hill Sr and Janie Williams-Hill on Nov 26, 1965 in Ft Smith, AR. He grew up in Sallisaw, was a graduate of Sallisaw high school before attending Oklahoma State University. He received his BS degree in petroleum engineering from Oklahoma State University before beginning a career with Haliburton in Louisiana. However, he later started his own business in construction, as he was the owner/operator of H&H Metal Construction for the last 27 years.Gene was a believer, a wonderful son, father, and a great brother. He will be sorely missed by his family, and his friends. He is survived by his father, Bob Hill Sr, mother Janie Williams-Hill, a son Colton Hill, daughter Gylliann Hill, brother Bobby Dale Hill, sister, Ann McMullin and her husband Chuck, nephews Conner and Zander McMullin, step-mother Pat Hill, and his girlfriend and partner, Alisa Yang.Graveside services will be held Friday, October 18, 2019, 2:00 pm at Blackjack Cemetery, near Muldrow. Heath Wood will be officiating,Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.
