Paul Wayne Baker

Paul Wayne Baker, 78, passed away on September 22, 2026.

Born on August 19, 1948, Paul will be remembered with respect and gratitude by those who knew and loved him. His life spanned nearly eight decades, and his memory will remain cherished.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Minnie Baker, and by his siblings Charles Baker, Butcher Baker, Donald Baker, Bill Baker, Johnny Baker, and Oleta Barton.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Baker; his son Randall Baker, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jason Baker and wife Jennifer Baker, Owasso, Oklahoma; Posie Holt, sister, Vian, Oklahoma, and Roger Baker, brother, and wife Janet Baker, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, and sister, Sue Isham, Tulsa. Oklahoma.

Master Sergeant, Paul Baker was a retired 20 Veteran from the United States Air Force, achieving the Air Force Commendation Medal; Air Force Outstanding Unit Award; Air Force Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon; Air Force Longevity Service Award; and Air Force Training Ribbon.  

Visitation for Paul Wayne Baker will be held at the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of The Forever Memories Funeral Services, located at 463505 Highway 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on Thursday, September, 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service for Paul Wayne Baker will be held on September 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Vian Freewill Baptist Church, 203 West Sequoyah Street, Vian, Oklahoma 74962. Burial will follow the service and will be held at the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, at 2:30 p.m.
