Randall (Randy) Owen Spinks

Randell (Randy) Owen Spinks, 68, passed this life on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Randy was born November 28, 1949 to Byron and Maxine (Clark) Spinks in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two daughters, Jerri Spinks (Troy Metheny, III) of Altus, Oklahoma and Gina Cox and husband, Greg, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; two sisters, Gaye Byrd and husband, Wendell, of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Luann Byrd of Drasco, Arkansas; four granddaughters, four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Randy did carpentry, loved fishing, loved horses and was an extremely talented musician. Randy was also a member of the Oak Grove Church in Wolf Bayou, AR. He had numerous family members, friends, classmates, neighbors and one special hospice nurse, Misty, that helped Randy and his family with his transition, all of whom he loved and held dear to his heart.Memorial services for Mr. Spinks will be held April 14, 2018, at 11 am, at Oak Grove Church, 614 Wolf Bayou Cut Off Rd., Wolf Bayou, Arkansas, 72530. Pastor Darvin Carlton will be officiating and Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wolf Bayou, Arkansas.Visitation with family and friends will follow services at the Oak Grove Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Oak Grove Church.The family has entrusted Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with the arrangements.
