Rickey Eugene Carter

Rickey Eugene Carter, 64, of Sallisaw passed away on Friday, Dec 6, 2019. Rickey was born April 21, 1955 in Weedpatch Bakersfield, CA to Everett and Mildred (Smith) Carter. He worked for many years as both a diesel and automobile mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Snow) Carter of the home; children, Patty Rosanna Youngblood of Spiro, Rickey E Carter Jr of Sallisaw, Orvil (Dub) Carter of Sallisaw, Rebecca Standridge of Antlers, Joey Collins of Idabel; siblings, Vernon Carter of Sallisaw, Jimmy Carter of Sallisaw, and Bonnie Carter-Maytubby of Hugo; 19 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Rickey was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cara Carter, Patricia Kitel, Peggy Brice, and Sharline Brown; and one brother, Steve CarterVisitation for Rickey will be Wednesday, Dec 11, 2019, from 4-7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Drakestand Cemetery, Sallisaw. Casket bearers will be Rickey Carter Jr., Orvil Carter, Vernon (Hoss) Carter, Trey Carter, Travis Carter, Vernon (Buddy) Carter.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.
