Robin Marie McMullen

Robin Marie McMullen, born on March 31, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2025, with her family by her side. She dedicated much of her life to nurturing and educating others as a substitute teacher for many years, touching the lives of many students with her warmth and enthusiasm.

Robin was known for her fun-loving spirit and her deep concern for her family. She cherished her role as a wife and mother, finding her proudest accomplishments in the bonds she created with those she loved. Her husband, James "Jim" Russell McMullen, and their son, Sean McMullen, of Gore, Oklahoma, were central to her heart. Robin was also a loving grandmother to William McMullen, who brought her immense joy.

In addition to her family, Robin is survived by her sister, Cindy Hooper, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and her brothers, Kim Slater of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and Kevin Slater of Cleveland, Oklahoma. She is deeply mourned by all who knew her.

Robin's interests and hobbies showcased her vibrant personality. She had a lifelong love for horses and enjoyed participating in barrel racing during her younger years. In addition to her fondness of horses, she loved to deer hunt, dove hunt, and fish, and spending quality time in nature. Robin also had a passion for arts and crafts, particularly painting, allowing her creative side to flourish.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Richard Slater, her mother, Nancy Jean Slater, and her brothers Chris Slater and "Spook" Slater, who will always be remembered in the hearts of those who remain.

As we celebrate the life of Robin Marie McMullen, we remember her laughter, her unwavering commitment to her family, and the joy she brought to all around her. She will be dearly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.

A memorial service for Robin will be scheduled at a later date.
