Sherry Diane Simmons passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born in Tulare, CA to Carl and Virginia Simmons. Sherry lived in Arizona most of her life. She moved to Sallisaw, OK to be close to family in 2021. She adored her 2 nieces Deborah Prince of Utah and Lori Frazier of Oregon. Sherry liked traveling and meeting new people but would stop in her tracks when she heard “Living on Tulsa Times”. One of her biggest loves was her little companion, Roxy.
Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, father, and 3 brothers: Ronnie Stone, Larry, and Ricky Simmons. She is survived by her children; Sam William Zebley and Larry Dean Zebley of Georgia; brothers Donnie Stone of California, and Tony Stone of Arkansas and half-brother Matthew Simmons of Arizona; grandchildren Mary Claire Zebley and Lori Zebley of Georgia.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2022, from 5 to 8 PM in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services Sallisaw, OK.
Services will be Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10 AM at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, OK.
Services are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw.
