Sherry Lynn Durant-Ross, of Sallisaw, OK, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Sherry was born on January 27, 1982, in Talihina Oklahoma.
Sherry grew up and graduated from Poteau High School. She was a CNA for 7 years at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She loved being outdoors, being a mom, and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.
John 11:25-26. Jesus said to her “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”.
Sherry is survived by, her loving husband, John David Ross II; children, Legacee Skye Ross, Brekken Creed Ross, Chase Christian Ross, Sydney Logan Ross, Alyssa Nicole Ross; mother, Carolyn Davis; siblings, Shawna Benavides, China Allen, and Debbie Sarpy; grandchildren, Emree Ross, Hollyn Skaggs, Adalyn Ross, Ivy Mayes, and Ellie Mayes.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary Jo Durant.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 2-5 P.M. in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services.
